Religion and Martial Arts

I am a Christian. I am a Martial Artist. For me, it is a perfect example of Chinese Yin and Yang.

I praise God during my practice of forms and meditation and can become evil in the face of confrontation. There are Buddist in my school from which I have learned that Buddah was just a man with many of the same thoughts that come straight from the book of Proverbs. I have felt the spirit of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and there is nothing more powerful. I have also become familiar with the feeling of what the Chinese call Chi–a life force that is all around. As I become more able to harness Chi, I begin to wonder, is this life force one in the same?

Light and dark forces abide inside us all. Pray for the light.
